History Edit

Alien Balbalu was a cunning alien with a vendetta against the Ultra Brothers. The first part of his revenge involved capturing and freezing Ultraman Leo's brother, Astra to steal his identity. Upon which, Balbalu (disguised as Imitation Astra) raided the Ultra Tower in the Land of Light, stealing the Ultra Key. With the Ultra Key in hand, the Ultra Brothers falling for his disguise as Astra, and with the Land of Light on a collision course with Earth, Alien Balbalu's plan was nearly complete.

While on earth disguised as Astra, a brawl between both the Ultra Brothers, Ultraman Leo, and Imitation Astra broke out until Ultraman King descended from the sky and destroyed Balbalu's disguise. Alien Balbalu quickly fled from the Ultra Brothers, who were forced to leave him in order to try to save as many lives as possible from the Land of Light's collision. With the Ultra Key useless now that it was snapped in half. It seemed Alien Balbalu's plan would succeed now that the planet he hated would be destroyed. During the commotion, Leo soon discovered where his true brother was located after an S.O.S. was sent by him. It was revealed that Astra was frozen in a Block of Ice and abandoned in the universe after Alien Balbalu stole his identity so he could masquerade as him.

Releasing his brother, Leo and the real Astra returned to Earth and spliced the Ultra Key back together again. Alien Balbalu soon noticed Astra's return and tried to stop him from returning the key to the Land of Light. Ultraman Leo and MAC managed to hold Balbalu off so Astra could retrieve the Key and return it to the Land of Light just in time. With his plan ruined, Balbalu and Leo fought with Leo manhandling the alien with his superior martial arts skills until the color timer-like device on Balbalu's chest started flashing. Ultraman Leo then struck Balbalu in the chest with the Leo Kick, sending a shower of sparks flying from the alien's chest before falling to the ground, dying in a huge explosion. With the Ultra Key restored, the Land of Light soon returned to its rightful place in Nebula M78.

Imitation Astra Edit

To exact his revenge on the Ultras, Balbalu disguised himself as an Imitation of Ultraman Leo's Brother, Astra. After capturing the real Astra and freezing him into a block of ice, Balbalu (in disguise) stole the Ultra Key, an object that kept the Land of Light in orbit around were its dead sun once stood and is capable of firing a shot strong enough to destroy an entire planet in one hit. Before he could escape the planet however, Imitation Astra was attacked by Ultraman. Although Ultraman was able to overpower him, the doppelgänger escaped the planet, both tricking the Ultra Brothers to believe Astra had betrayed them, and setting their planet on a collusion course with Earth.

Upon landing on Earth, Imitation Astra used Gen's heart to trick Leo into protecting him due to them (Leo and "Astra") being the only surviving members of his race. Gen was unable to believe that "Astra" was responsible for what has happened, but Dan knew what had really happened (thanks to the Ultra Brothers for forewarning him.) and he used his Ultra Will Power on the doppelgänger so the Ultra Key could be recovered. Gen however had fallen for Balbalu's ruse and fought with Dan while Imitation Astra was left to fight off Zoffy, Ultraman, Jack, and Ace. Gradually the Ultra Brothers began overwhelming Imiation Astra, prompting him to call Leo to help him.

Transforming into Ultraman Leo to come to his "brother’s" aid, Leo tried to talk some sense into The Ultra Brothers and Imitation Astra, whom all refused as they couldn’t wait any longer due to the collusion of the Land of Light being nearly upon them. With no other option, the Ultra Brothers now had to attack Leo and "Astra" to retrieve the Ultra Key. After a short brawl between each Brothers, The Ultra Brothers fired weakened versions of their signature weapons, with Imitation Astra using Leo as a shield to protect himself. With Leo weakened by the blasts. Imitation Astra prepared to use the Ultra Key’s devastating power on the Ultra Brothers to destroy them. Luckily, they were saved by Ultraman King, whom had arrived to stop the alien's plan by spliting the Ultra Key in half. Ultraman King then fired a beam of energy at Imitation Astra, destroying the disguise and revealing Alien Balbalu's true face.
