"Blair Waldorf Must Pie!" is the ninth episode of the CW television series, Gossip Girl.[1] It aired on Tuesday, 27 November, 2007 on CTV and Wednesday, 28 November, 2007 on the CW.

Plot[]

Serena is very excited for her Thanksgiving dinner at the Waldorfs' house while Blair is excited to see her father who has been away in France. The episode starts with a flashback of the previous Thanksgiving and Serena being drunk in the streets of New York, when Dan walks by and sees her standing in front of a moving car. He saves Serena, but his glory doesn't last long, as Blair appears on the scene and tells him to back off.

In present time, Serena and Blair are getting ready for Thanksgiving. Each of them seems uncomfortable, as if they are hiding something. Suddenly Serena brings up Chuck, secretly knowing that Blair and Chuck hooked up at Blair's party. This leads into a discussion of Blair and Chuck sleeping together. They start fighting because Serena thinks it's wrong what Blair did, but then again, she did the same thing. Blair and Serena unanimously decide to not spend Thanksgiving together.

Serena is not the only one who got dismissed from the Waldorfs' Thanksgiving; the Archibald family was uninvited as well. Nate's parents are very quiet because they are all ashamed of each other. Something is a little off with the family that is hard to put a finger on, and discussion is kept to a mininum at Thanksgiving dinner.

There are various flashbacks throughout the episode showing the previous years Thanksgiving. In this one they show Blair and Serena feeding each other potatoes and goofing off when Blair's father asks her for help with a dish he is preparing. He can tell Serena is drunk out of her mind. Blair's mother walks in with a tray of some sort of food but Blair denies eating it, saying she is "full" and "already ate like fifteen" giving us hints that she had an eating disorder. Then Nate arrives. Serena waves insanely and Blair runs over and gives him a hug, but since Serena is so drunk, Nate has to go upstairs and leave her in the bathtub whislt undressing Blair with Chuck.
