Bo Brady, is the only son of Caroline Brady, and Victor Kiriakis. He had originally thought that Shawn Brady was his biological father, until revealed by Caroline that he was not. Bo first came to Salem in 1993, and immediately won the heart of Hope Williams Brady. They eventually married, and welcomed their first child, Shawn-Douglas Brady into their family. Bo later became a detective for the Salem Police Department.[1] Much later Bo and Hope have another child, Zack Brady.

During the Salem Stalker Storyline, Bo had lost both his mother (Caroline), and his brother (Roman). He & Hope decided to rejoin the police force, and were personally the ones who arrested Marlena Evans Black. When all were discovered to be alive on an island, Bo was part of the rescue team, and was shocked find his past love, Billie Reed there as well. On New Years Day in 2006, Zack was hit by a car given driven by his daughter Chelsea Brady.Bo learned that Chelsea was the one driving the car that hit Zack, but agreed to keep it secret from everyone—including Hope—so his daughter wouldn't go to jail. When Hope found out, she kicked Bo out of the house and asked for a divorce. Hope eventually tried to move on with Patrick Lockhart while Bo turned back to Billie. When Chelsea received a light punishment for her crime, Hope vowed to never forgive Bo. Hope soon learned she was pregnant, and a test revealed that Patrick was the father. At the same time, Bo learned that Chelsea had been sending phony emails to keep Bo and Hope apart, and Bo told his daughter he wanted nothing to do with her.[1] Hope later became pregnant with Patrick Lockhart's child, Ciara. They later learned that Ciara's real father was Bo. Bo & Hope later reconciled.
