The songs from the album were uploaded onto the Solar Mex YouTube channel. After the full album was released, YouTube promptly removed the channel. Moon Man uploaded the album onto Dropbox and SoundCloud so that fans could access the album.
Moon Man began production of Deluxe EP on June 12, 2015, with work on the opening track, "Feminists 2.0," which is a sequel to his original hit classic, "Feminists." This song was released to YouTube exactly one week later on June 19. Moon Man then continued to release "Haters" 11 days later. He took 3 weeks to produce his next song, "White Girls," a remix of Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen," on July 21. After a near month long break, Moon Man released "Celebrities" on August 19. He then released "Killing Niggers 2.0" on August 27. He declared "Killing Niggers 2.0" as the final song of Deluxe EP. The next day, he compiled the 5 songs into an album and uploaded it to the Solar Mex channel. The channel, along with the songs and the official album release, was removed by YouTube on August 31, 2015. At this time, "Feminists 2.0," "Haters," and "White Girls" had all amassed over 30,000 views. "Celebrities," "Killing Niggers 2.0," and the album itself failed to gain popularity, as they were removed quickly by YouTube after release.
