Det. Julia Porter is a fictional character featured in the NBC-USA Network television series Law & Order: Criminal Intent, portrayed by Saffron Burrows.
Porter is the replacement for Det. Megan Wheeler (Julianne Nicholson), who left as partner of Zach Nichols (Jeff Goldblum) at the end of season eight and for Det. Alexandra Eames (Kathryn Erbe), who had to leave the series with the 2-hour-premiere of the ninth season (airing on March 2010) after eight years.
