Kicks Online is a free-to-play soccer MMO, published all around the world by the company Entermate. The first version of this game was made available to the Korean public in July 2006. Unlike traditional soccer games, Kicks Online features fast-paced street football. Players can only win a match by true teamwork, passes being essential. According to feature.mmosite.com, the game has over 30000 registered users from all over the world.

GameplayEdit

In this game, people create their individual character, which you level up by playing matches. The different modes for those games are 3 vs 3, 4 vs 4 and 5 vs 5. You can also use the points you earn to buy an assortment of clothes as well as skills in the shop. When you first start the game, you can choose from 3 initial positions:

Delantero: A forward player. Your main objective is very simple: score as much as you can.

Medio: A player in midfield. Your duty is to regain possession of the ball and pass it off to the forwards, occasionally scoring yourself by shooting from distance.

Defendero: A defender. As the name says, the objective is to prevent your opponents from scoring.. You also get 10 points to add in any stat, such as long shots (Tiro Largo) or stealing (Robo). When your level is high enough, you can choose to create a club or join an existing one. With those clubs, you can compete in tourneys, hosted by Game Masters, or GM’s for short.

CommunityEdit

Kicks Online has an extensive community consisting of different nationalities. As the European server has closed down, people from there have moved to the Latin American server. The latter server now serves as a refuge for European players. The community also has a forum where you can join clubs, read tutorials and get informed about the game. New players are always welcome. Other versions available are hosted in Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
