A Knut is a type of currency on the Wizarding World of the film series Harry Potter. It is a round shape and is bronze.
The first time Harry sees a Knut is when Hagrid gets the Daily Prophet from an owl and the owl pecks Harry, asking for money. Harry doesn't understand and asks Hagrid; and Hagrid says, "Give him 5 Knuts".
