The Nordic Game Program was launched on January 1, 2006 due to the decision of the Nordic Ministers for Culture, representing Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. The program is planned to run until 2012. The Nordic Game Program is initiated and funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers.
