String Burn LIVE! is an American television and Internet series, a Talk Show that first aired June 2009. The series was created in 2009 by producer Josh Schlichting. The series is co-hosted by Josh Schlichting and Kirby Kirchgasler. The show is yoyo themed. It features news, reviews, tutorials, and giveaway prizes for live at home audience members.
The series is generally aired live every Saturday at 11:00 AM CST. Podcasts can be downloaded from iTunes and the official website. Archives can be viewed at both the official website and ustream.

Origins[]
Creator Josh Schlichting is an avid yo-yoer from Minnesota. Josh created Minnesota's College for the Easily Amused with Doctor Popular, as well as the YoYo Wiki.[1]
Casting[]
While the original plan focused on rotating special co-hosts, the Internet and Josh quickly became fans of Kirby Kirchgasler. Kirby has been a steady co-host since the first episodes. To create musical ambiance as well as comedic banter, Josh enlisted the help of another fellow yo-yoer JohnBot.[2]
Broadcast history[]
Originally created for Online live broadcast only, String Burn Live! has since added several Saint Paul, Minnesota neighborhoods to its live broadcast, on Public Access. String Burn Live! Continues to broadcast live through ustream.
Music[]
Most all the music on the show is produced by JohnBot, live. With the exception of the Yo-Yo videos, and some bumpers.
Format[]
String Burn Live! Uses a Sports Talk format. Viewers watch hosts talk about news, go through product reviews, and giveaways. As well as featuring trick tutorials for Yo-Yo community pros, and trick videos.

String Burn Live! is regularly sponsored by Yo-Yo manufacturers. These manufacturers sponsor String Burn Live! with donated Yo-Yos to the show, for a review and giveaway.
